The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has announced its list of holidays for 2023. The list includes national and cultural holidays, as well as Saturdays and Sundays.
Some of the key holidays on the list include

Good Friday (April 7)
Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti (April 14)
Id-ul-fitr (Ramzan Id) (April 22)
Maharashtra Day (May 1)
Id-ul-adha (Bakri Id) (June 29)
Independence Day (August 15)
Ganesh Chaturthi (September 19)
Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti (October 2)
Dussehra (October 24)
Diwali Balipratipada (November 14)
Gurunanak Jayanti (November 27)
Christmas (December 25).
In addition to these holidays, the NSE may also close for trading on other days, such as if there is a natural disaster or other unforeseen event.
Muhurat Trading is an auspicious stock market trading occasion that happens for an entire hour on Diwali. This year, Muhurat Trading will be conducted on November 12, 2023.
